North Tollway Pet Hospital is a full service veterinarian clinic servicing North Dallas, Carrollton, and Plano.

Dr. Duane Maxwell graduated from Texas A&M University in 1981. He spent three years in the US Army stationed at the US Naval Academy in Maryland. He bought his first Veterinary Hospital in Carrollton, TX in 1984. He enjoys small animal medicine including all types of small animals including exotics from reptiles, marsupials, ferrets, rabbits and rodents to birds, monkeys and potbellied pigs.

Fiona McCord, DVM, JD, MS graduated from Edinburough University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine 1981. She earned a Master’s of Science in cardiovascular physiology from Texas A&M in 1986, graduated SMU School of Law in 1996.

Dr. McCord has been with North Tollway and Frankford Pet Hospitals for 6 years. Her two labradors, Foster and Tank, join her at the hospital. Dr. McCord is married and has two children.
