North Tollway Pet Hospital is a full service veterinarian clinic servicing North Dallas, Carrollton, and Plano.

Dr. Duane Maxwell graduated from Texas A&M University in 1981. He spent three years in the US Army stationed at the US Naval Academy in Maryland. He bought his first Veterinary Hospital in Carrollton, TX in 1984. He enjoys small animal medicine including all types of small animals including exotics from reptiles, marsupials, ferrets, rabbits and rodents to birds, monkeys and potbellied pigs.

Douglas Stramel, DVM graduated from Kansas State University in 1991 and has been practicing in the DFW area since that time.  In 1994 Dr. Stramel went back to school for a one year surgical based internship with the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center.  His main interests are Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery as well as pain management.  Dr. Stramel is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, American Animal Hospital Association and American Veterinary Medical Association.
